Loire Valley, in all its natural wine glory has captured the hearts of Sommeliers everywhere from Portland to Brooklyn. Chenin specifically has had (as the NY Times puts it) "an audacious U.S. return". This long awaited second coming has the industry buzzing with excitement, and now we're seeing California wines like the Sandlands Chenin Blanc create food-pairing nirvana. After all, lush whites with legit acid are tough to beat! What else am I to pair with my spicy beer can chicken?
