Sometimes you need a cocktail in a pinch. I am of the mindset that as long as you have citrus and gin, you're good to go. However in this mixologist-crazed day and age, frilly cocktails & hand carved ice has spoiled us. It is possible to create something interesting at home, so I encourage you to improvise a bit. You never know; what you've got hidden in the back of your fridge behind the year old mustard might turn your "gin & juice" into a speciality cocktail. For instance, a jar of pepper jelly, a few limes and your favorite gin. Tasty.
BOOZE: Greenhook Ginsmith, possibly my favorite gin.
